Mouna Rebeiz s’engage pour le Liban avec l’ estampe « Li Beyrouth, Fairuz »

L’œuvre de Mouna Rebeiz, « Li Beyrouth, Fairuz » (Huile sur toile, 67,5 cm x 52,5 cm ) sera vendue par Artcurial au profit de Safe World Peace. Oeuvrant notamment à la reconstruction du Geitaoui Hospital de Beyrouth. Avec générosité et pour aider au mieux Beyrouth, Mouna Rebeiz signera les 50 exemplaires de l’estampe (éditée au format 70 x 50 cm) vendue au prix de 840 € en souscription puis 1.200 € au-delà. Pour chaque oeuvre vendue, 50% de la vente ira au profit de Safe World Peace pour ses actions au Liban.

Mouna Rebeiz’s work, « Li Beirut, Fairuz » (Oil on canvas, 67.5 cm x 52.5 cm) will be sold by Artcurial for the benefit of Safe World Peace. Working notably on the reconstruction of the Geitaoui Hospital in Beirut. With generosity and in order to help Beirut, Mouna Rebeiz will sign the 50 copies of the print (published in 70 x 50 cm format) sold at a price of €840 for a subscription and €1,200 thereafter. For each work sold, 50% of the sale will go to the benefit of Safe World Peace for its actions in Lebanon.

Pour le projet caritatif « Artistes à la Une – Togeth-her », Mouna Rebeiz a choisi de représenter la chanteuse Libanaise la plus célébrée de tous les temps : Fairuz. Mouna s’en explique : « J’ai littéralement senti passer le souffle de l’explosion au travers de moi comme au travers de la ville de Beyrouth où je suis née. Jusque-là, le seul souffle capable de rassembler tous les libanais était celui de Fairuz. L’émotion, le saisissement, la stupeur, les sentiments nés de sa voix n’avaient jamais été égalés en intensité jusqu’au 4 Août 2020, quand l’explosion détruit la ville de Beyrouth. »

For the charity project « Artistes à la Une – Togeth-her« , Mouna Rebeiz has chosen to represent the most celebrated Lebanese singer of all time: Fairuz. Mouna explains: « I literally felt the breath of the explosion pass through me as it did through the city of Beirut where I was born. Until then, the only blast capable of gathering all the Lebanese was that of Fairuz. The emotion, the awe, the astonishment, the feelings born from his voice had never been equalled in intensity until August 4, 2020, when the explosion destroyed the city of Beirut ».
